Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses require completion of Year 12 (or overseas equivalent) or completion of Year 11 and relevant work experience. Mature age students who have necessary industry experience can also apply. Each class will have a maximum of 20 students.
School aged dependents of students are required to pay full school fees for their education requirements.
Minimum English Language Proficiency
International students need an IELTS band score of 5.5, or a recognised equivalent of the score to demonstrate their English proficiency. Alternatively if the language of instruction in your home country is English, or the language spoken at home is English or you have successfully completed a Layas Institute English Proficiency Test or have achieved a satisfactory outcome in interview with the Layas Institute selection Board, you will be considered proficient.
Please note that students who do not provide an IELTS (or equivalent, for example TOEFL) score may be required to sit an English language test. If necessary, students will be asked to complete an English Language Course, before being invited to join a formal course.
